AI Generates Your Card

Google's Gemini AI does the heavy lifting. First, Gemini Vision analyzes your photo, identifying the subject, its features, and context. Then it generates a complete card: original artwork, a creative name, Pokemon type, HP, two abilities with damage values, and flavor text. All of it contextually relevant to what's in your photo.

Get Your Rarity Roll

Every card gets a random rarity assignment the moment it's created. The odds mirror real TCG booster packs: Common (50%), Uncommon (30%), Rare (10%), Holo Rare (7%), Secret Rare (3%). Higher rarities mean better base stats, and for Holo and Secret Rare, animated holographic effects on the card itself.

Common Questions

How long does it take to generate a card?
The full process, from photo upload to finished card, takes roughly 20 to 30 seconds. Gemini Vision analyzes the photo in about 5 seconds, then image generation and card assembly take the remaining time. You'll see a loading animation while it works.
What happens if my photo doesn't work well?
The AI handles most photos, but some produce better results than others. Blurry photos, extremely dark images, or shots with no clear subject may result in generic card designs. For best results, use a clear, well-lit photo with a single main subject. Minimum recommended resolution is 512×512 pixels.
Can I control what type or abilities my card gets?
The card type (Fire, Water, Psychic, etc.) and abilities are determined by the AI based on what it sees in your photo. You can't manually override them, and that's part of the fun. The AI picks types and abilities that contextually match your subject, so the results are usually thematically appropriate.
Is the rarity truly random?
Yes. Rarity is assigned via weighted randomization at generation time. The odds are fixed: Common 50%, Uncommon 30%, Rare 10%, Holo Rare 7%, Secret Rare 3%. The same photo can produce different rarities if you generate multiple times. No way to game the odds.
How many cards can I create per day?
The free tier allows up to 5 card generations per day per user. Each generation creates one complete card with AI-generated artwork, stats, abilities, flavor text, and a rarity assignment. The daily limit resets at midnight UTC.
