What the AI Actually Does

Step 1: Image Analysis

Gemini AI examines your photo to identify the main subject, background context, colors, and visual mood. A photo of a golden retriever in a park gets analyzed differently than a cosplayer at a convention - and the card concept reflects that.

Step 2: Card Concept Design

The AI designs a complete card: name, creature type (Fire, Water, Electric, Psychic, etc.), HP value, two attacks with damage and energy costs, a passive ability, and flavor text. Stats are balanced based on the rarity roll - Secret Rare cards get stronger everything.

Step 3: Artwork Generation

A second AI call generates original artwork inspired by your photo but styled as a trading card illustration. The result is not a filter or overlay - it is a new image created from scratch based on the card concept. Holo Rare and Secret Rare cards get enhanced artistic detail.

Step 4: Rarity Roll & Effects

Every card gets a weighted random rarity: Common (50%), Uncommon (30%), Rare (10%), Holo Rare (7%), Secret Rare (3%). Higher rarities trigger CSS holographic shimmer effects, rainbow borders, and enhanced stat values. The roll is pure RNG - no streak protection, just like real packs.
